Introduction Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the world, with more than 2.5 billion followers globally. It has a rich history that dates back to the 16th century, and since then, it has evolved into one of the most sophisticated sports in the world. Today, cricket is more than just a game; it is a culture, a way of life, and a source of inspiration for millions of people worldwide. Cricket enthusiasts are always looking for new ways to stay updated with the latest news, scores, and analysis of their favorite cricketers and teams.
Recently, personalized cricket news has emerged as a new way to cater to the diverse needs of cricket fans. This report explores the impact of personalized cricket news on sports enthusiasts. In the past, cricket enthusiasts had limited sources of information such as TV broadcast, radio, print media, and websites. However, the rise of personalized cricket news has enabled fans to get tailor-made news, scores, and analysis that align with their preferences. Personalization of cricket news allows sports enthusiasts to select their favorite teams, players, and tournaments and receive updates and analysis accordingly.
Objective The primary objective of this study is to explore the impact of personalized cricket news on sports enthusiasts. The study aims to examine the following research questions: 1. How does personalized cricket news affect the engagement level of sports enthusiasts? 2. What is the impact of personalized cricket news on the interest level of sports enthusiasts? 3. What are the perceived benefits of personalized cricket news for sports enthusiasts?
Methodology To investigate the research questions mentioned above, we conducted a survey with cricket enthusiasts. The survey aimed to collect data on the frequency of consuming news, the preferred platforms for consuming news, and the level of engagement and interest in cricket. The survey also included questions that aimed to measure the impact of personalized cricket news on sports enthusiasts. The survey was distributed through online channels such as social media platforms, forums, and email lists.
Results The survey received 250 responses from cricket enthusiasts. The results showed that 87% of respondents consume Top Europe News related to cricket at least once a day.
