The Tenant-Landlord Cooperation Advocates help mediate landlord-conflict and provide direct advocacy to ensure tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities are protected.
- Problem-solve complicated tenancy conflicts and work towards solutions that make sense for everyone
- Provide direct advocacy at the Residential Tenancies Branch to help support tenants and landlords in understanding their rights and responsibilities under the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Support tenants navigating other systems that impact housing (e.g. CFS, EIA, Hydro/City of Winnipeg Water,mental/physical healthcare) to prevent displacement and encourage healthy tenancies
