We are a community non-profit organization in Winnipeg’s North End comprised of nine partner neighbourhoods. The neighbourhoods we serve are William Whyte, St. John’s, Dufferin, Lord Selkirk Park, Inkster-Faraday, Robertson, Burrows Central, Luxton and North Point Douglas.

Our Programs & Services

Our Pillars
NECRC is committed to the social, economic and cultural renewal of the North End of Winnipeg. Our pillars form the core principles that guide the development of our programs, services, and community initiatives. Our work aims to encourage positive outcomes by building relationships, and increasing accessibility to community, economic development, skills for employment, and healthy housing.
Housing
Safe, affordable, secure housing is central to everyone’s health and well-being. The North End has unique challenges to overcome in terms of access to good, affordable housing.
Community
We are comprised of eleven neighbourhoods in the North End, working together to build relationships and deliver a wide range of community initiatives.
Economics
We offer several grant programs to assist residents and businesses to improve their properties and instil community pride.
Employability
Our goal is to connect with low-income individuals who are looking for identification, a bank account, and employment skills.
